Product Details

For sport-oriented scooters. The tread pattern was adapted from the Pirelli Diablo sport tire and has great wet handling and dry grip while limiting road noise. The Diablo's high-performance tread compound is imported directly from Pirelli’s sport touring tires, which results in more mileage and regular wear.

The tire's larger contact patch maximizes braking efficiency and traction in all weather conditions, increasing rider safety. The radial tires are the only scooter tires with multi-ply carcass, and patented 0° steel belt aids in high-speed riding stability and cornering even with fully loaded vehicle.

P-rated for speeds up to 93 mph, S-rated for speeds up to 112 mph or H-rated for speeds up to 130 mph.

Such a headache with these tires.

By Hobomidget

Comments about Pirelli Diablo Scooter Tire:

I made the mistake of going to a dealer on Pirelli Locator. I decided to support local business and pay more, that was a mistake. The shop owner said warehouse was out of stock of these, and put on Avons on my Itallian scooter. The install was already done, so I took it just to get out of there. I messaged Pirelli, and they didn't care what tires I got or what the shop did. I am never trusting Pirelli again, in helping me obtain their product. I will use BikeBandit to make sure I get what I pay for.

Comments about Pirelli Diablo Scooter Tire:

The tire was installed last week after receiving it much faster than anticipated. Since it was new, care had to be taken when riding for the first hundred or so miles, but it has great cornering and the control is really good. Since it is the front tire, this is very important. Type of tread makes a difference also. My machine is a Touring Scooter, so the tire makes a big difference. Great buy!

Comments about Pirelli Diablo Scooter Tire:

After reading review and forums, I bought a rear Diablo for my Burgman 400 from Bike Bandit. I had it installed and balanced at my local Suzuki stealer. After putting the wheel back on the bike, I noticed that it wasn't rolling smoothly, like it had a slight hop. I put the bike on the center stand and ran it. I could see that the tire, indeed, was not round.

I made a video of the tire on the wheel in motion and sent it to BB. The agreed that the tire was defective. The sent a tire straight away without my having to send the first one back. This was helpful, as my Burgie is my only transportation.

However, that meant that I had to ride on a bumpy tire for almost two weeks and had to pay to have it installed twice.

Now that the tire has been replaced, the new tire feels great and I'm very happy with it. I ride canyon roads almost every day and the bike corners really well.

Bottom line; they are good tires, unless you get a bad one.

Comments about Pirelli Diablo Scooter Tire:

Used these tires to upsize and replace the dry-rotted tires on my Buell Blast. Only have a few hundred miles on them and the ride, handling, etc are world's better than the old tires that came off.

Thanks for writing in! We would suggest using the manufacturer recommended style of tire. You would want to be sure that you use the same tire construction (radial vs bias ply) for the front and rear.
