Comments about Pirelli MT 21 Motorcycle Tire:

This tire was recommended to me by a NY club member, many other club members love this tire for it's grip and mileage. I don't think I'll be disappointed! The knobs on the sidewall extend lower than any other tire I've seen so far!

Comments about Pirelli MT 21 Motorcycle Tire:

I do not understand all the rave reviews for this tire. I put a new one on my old DR650 just before a dual sport run and it is nearly toast after the one ride. It was about 180 miles total with only about 30 pavement! No chunking or anything weird, it just wore badly! The indented lines betwwen the center knobs is almost gone and all the knobs are rounded badly already. My friend had a new non DOT Maxxis full knobby and his showed less than half the wear mine did! It did hook up well in mud etc, but was very skittish in the rocks. Other than in mud the Kenda dual sport tire I had before lasted way longer, I will have to try something else.

Comments about Pirelli MT 21 Motorcycle Tire:

super fast shipping!I received the tire the next day, I was amazed!
This tire performs great off road, it's the factory tire that came on my 08 Beta 525RS and I stuck with it. It will obviously wear faster on the street if you're not careful I got 1700 miles out of the old one!

      • Q:

My bike uses front tire size 80/100-21 M/C 51P. Should I get the 80/90 or the 90/90 tires? I've used the Pirelli MT-21's in the past, and loved them, but I always just let the shop order them.

IS THE 140/80 A WIDER TIRE THAN THE OTHERS?

          Thanks for your question.

Yes the 140 will be wider than the other sizes. The 140 is the tire width in MM and the 80 is the aspect ratio and the 18 is the rim size.
