Comments about Shinko 009 Raven Motorcycle Tire:

These tires are VERY slick when first installed, and take over 100 miles to get broken in. You have been warned. VERY SLICK WHEN NEW!

After you break them in, they are excellent. Never a problem even in torrential downpours, never slip on a curve, and I have no chicken strip.

Lasted 8500 miles, had another 1000 to go but I am taking a vacation, so need new. So I bought another one.

Needed 1/2 OZ to balance, good ride.

Comments about Shinko 009 Raven Motorcycle Tire:

This is hands down the best tire I have ever had.
Great grip wet or dry - I can not recommend this tire enough. I have run several models of Dunlop, Michelin, Bridgestone and others.

        Installed on 4/16/2009, 29,326 miles

        tread new - 9/32
        2815 miles – 7/32 left
        7380 miles – 4/32 left
        9003 miles – 3/32 left

Almost all riding so far has been 2 up with loaded saddle & Tank bags
        This also includes multiple burnouts
        projected mileage = 13,500+ miles
