Comments about Shinko 712 Motorcycle Tire:
Nice sticky rubber at a very affordable price. Much better quality than other tires at its price range, like Cheng Shin (junk). I have previously used Michelin pilot power, Bridgestone battlax BT016, and Pirelli diablo corsa, so I am familiar with high end street tires for comparison.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Replaced a Dunlop front on my Bandit 600

I bought the Shinko to replace a Dunlop Roadsmart that picked up a nail and couldn't be fixed. I didn't want to spend another big chunk for the tire plus mounting so, based on advice from the Maximum Suzuki forum, I made the leap.I could not be happier with this tire! I just finished a four day ride that brought my mileage up to 5000 on this tire and there is very little center or side center wear (from crowned roads) to be seen. I would definitely buy this tire again, and as my rear tire goes, I be replacing it with a Shinko too.

from Denver, co
Second time i have bought Shinko tires. I ride with a club and put allot of miles on a year. Bought the back tire then took off from Denver to Missouri. I have rode through Snow, rain and hail with these tires and have never had an issue with them. Got a new front tire when i got back. Handles great with the bike loaded or not. I installed them myself with out allot of problems and if you line the dot and valve stem the last four of these i have put on didn't need balanced. I usually ran Avons or Dunlop and these are just as good. Will keep buying them.
