Comments about Shinko Classic 240 Motorcycle Tire:

I have to be honest.. I was a little leary on purchasing this tire because of the price "You get what you pay for" in most cases. Once mounted the tire looks great! I was surprise at how well it handles on the turns and how it sticks to the road. I push this tire hard at times and so far so good. Bottom line? Excellent tire for the money.

Comments about Shinko Classic 240 Motorcycle Tire:

I've been putting these on my sportster chopper builds for a few months now. They look really great with the double white wall. Can't really beat the value for price of these. They have held up very well even without balancing them. Not the most high performance tire I've ever used by a long shot but I was expecting that.

Comments about Shinko Classic 240 Motorcycle Tire:

Decent tire rad vintage look, I have over 10000 mi on mine and its got a little life on it still. Did pretty well off road for a street tire. Doesn't instill confidence in corners but that's really the only downer, awesome for commuting

        • No Balance Dot

        Best Uses

Comments about Shinko Classic 240 Motorcycle Tire:

There is the usual sticker with instructions to observe the balance dot and directional arrow. Neither are present on the tire. Given the tire has a unidirectional tread, I am not too concerned about the lack of a directional arrow. It would have been nice to have the balance dot. I mount my own tires and typically do not worry about balancing them. I can feel some vibration and it gets quite noticeable once I get up to about 80 MPH. I am going to attempt to balance it myself. If cannot get it smooth, I guess I'll have to take it.

An MT90 is a 130/90/16 size so it is 130mm width size.
