        Comments about Dunlop Motorcycle Tube:

Not wanting a tube in my tire that did not have a good brand name, I shopped around and bought the Dunlop. From Bike Bandit, it was also cheaper than the aftermarket brand names from other dealers. I`m using this tube for both front and rear of a '99 Excelsior-Henderson.

            Comments about Dunlop Motorcycle Tube:

Even though the size description only lists MT90-16 for the offset TR-4 8mm valve stem, the writing on the tube itself also indicates MU90-16. I use these tubes for the offset wheels on 1999 and 2000 Excelsior Henderson Super X's. They work great with these wheels. The offset stems should cause less stress on the tube if by chance you have been using tubes with a straight or non-offset valve stem. I have been told that tubes with 90 degree stems also work on these offset Super X wheels, but I have not tried them.

                    A:

Thanks for your question! For the tube sizes you would want to pick the same as the tire sizes and for either center or offset it would depend what is on there originally.

                • Q:

I have a 1968 xlch sportster that I am putting together. I just order some k70 dunlops for it and now was wondering which tubes to get. The front is a 3.50 x 19 and the rear is a 4.00 x 18 rim. Do you have some suggestions on tubes and do you think the k70 are a good choice of tire as well? Thanks again.

                    A:

Thanks for your question! The K70s are for older, vintage motorcycle tires. Those will work, but we also suggest the D401/402 or even the D404s as well for your machine. For tubes, you just want to make sure that the sizes correspond with your tire sizes you ordered.

Thanks for your question! The center stem will come through the center of your rim and the offset would come through the side of your rim.
