Motorcycle boots don’t have to be expensive, uncomfortable, or soak up water like a sponge. Tour Master, known for quality motorcycle touring products, recently introduced a completely updated version of its popular Solution boots, the Solution 2.0 WP. They’re made from water-repellent leather and employ an improved waterproof, breathable membrane to keep your feet dry and happy. Leather stretch panels improve flexibility and a leather shift pad reduces wear at that critical point. Zippers are on the inside of the legs, making them easy to access and they are covered by storm flaps. TecnoGI thermoplastic heel cups and toecaps protect those areas. Molded nylon shin and ankle guards backed with shock-absorbing material, and latex foam on flex panels provides additional protection. The molded soles provide good grip and keep water out. Pre-formed vibration-absorbing foot beds adds comfort and insulation. I just retired a pairof the original Solution boots, which were my favorites. They fit well, were comfy all day in warm or cold weather for riding and walking, kept my feet dry in downpours and held up for years of constant use. The Solution 2 boots continue all these qualities. Features: -Water repllent leather and Poly urethane upper -Hipora® waterproof, breathable membrane -3M® Scotchlite™ on rear area for nightime visibility -VR single density compound sole for reliable grip -100% polyester round laces plus adjustable Velcro® strap for easy fastening -Shock absorbing latex foam flex panels -Molded nylon shin and ankle guard backed with shock absorbing material -Leather shift pad -TecnoGl® thermoplastic heel cup and toe cap -Performed orthopedic vibration absorbing foot bed

Comments about Tour Master Solution 2.0 WP Motorcycle Boots:
I purchased these boots in October of 2011. I was immediately satisfied with how comfortable the boot were. I could ride and when I got off the bike not have to change into different shoes to walk around comfortably. I road through multiple rain storms and in the beginning these boots were extremely waterproof. I ride year round and average about 700 miles a week on a dual sport bike. A lot of this time is spent commuting too and from work (63 miles one way) and I see all sorts of weather. These boots have handled rain, snow, sleet, hail, and the summer heat with no problem. With a thick pair of wool socks they do well in the winter, I've ridden in them in temps as low as 22 degrees F.Now maybe they're not designed for as much use as I give them, like I said I wear them daily. But they are now literally falling apart at the seams as of June 22, 2012. I know I put a lot of miles on them and that's 8 solid months of use but I would have liked at least a year or so out of them. The seams are splitting and the thread holding them together is pulling away so they are far from waterproof at this point. The soles of the shoes are also showing considerably wear and tear considering I don't drag my feet at red lights or abuse the soles in any way.I would buy these boots again, but only if I were using them infrequently or if they were greatly discounted.

Comfy, dry, but short-li9ved
By Foosh

I had a pair of the original Solution and was thrilled with them. They were comfy, dry, and I wore them daily for nearly 3 years. The inner fabric at the heel tore in one and catches my foot, so I can't get the foot in any more. Went shopping for another pair, now they have the Solution 2.0. OK, bought a pair. Same love. All-day comfort whether riding or walking, never got wet feet. But 6 months later the seams across the top of the foot had split. Warranty replacements arrived, and now they're doing the same thing. That seam is a serious design flaw, and by itself enough to keep you away from this boot if you're looking for daily wear. I also got some crushing in the sole of the boot I use on the center-stand tang. These would be a 5 if they'd lasted better. The original Solution WAS a 5 in my book. These are VERY disappointing!
Top shelf boots at a great price!

I just bought these and they were "straight from the box" comfortable. I can see being able to walk all day in these if needed. Very nice styling. The sizing is accurate and a great fit for my narrow foot. I wear an 11.5 shoe and the 12 boot fits perfectly. Most motorcycle boots are too wide for me as I have a B-C width foot. I have not been in the rain with them, but all reports from friends with these boots are favorable. The tread pattern and depth is great! A moderately aggressive tread that gives good traction on loose road surfaces. The safety padding and reinforcements cause no problems with fit or comfort and look like they will work well if needed. I ride 15,000 to 20, 000 miles a year from April-October and these look like they will work well for all those seasons.
Beautiful but useless

The boots are very well made, lightweight, good quality stitching and seems to be waterproof. I was very impressed when I had them in my hands. The issue was to have my feet in them.Very narrow ankle entrance. After 15 minutes of trying with the thinnest socks I had, I finally was in but I could not close them and my foot was too much compressed. For a WIDE size, I was very disappointed!I will try to give them away. I cannot send them back without costing me more money.
