Comments about Tour Master Sonora Air Motorcycle Jacket:

It is February in the Great White North, so a fully mesh jacket isn't going to get an on-road review quite yet. The jacket and the Tourmaster sizing chart are spot on. I selected the 3XL based on my measurements (6 ft, 265) and the jacket fits like it was custom made. The workmanship is excellent and the factory packaging (all the zipper pulls were wrapped in paper to prevent damage to the fabric, for example) shows an attention to detail. The colours are what I expected and the fabrics used appear to be very strong and should prove to be durable. I am looking forward to the tempature climbin above freezing to try it on the road!

Comments about Tour Master Sonora Air Motorcycle Jacket:

I order the black in XXXL Tall. I'm 6' 3", 250 lbs. and jacket fits me perfect. Nice long sleeves, long in rear and front. Has velcro adjuster/straps to prevent wind flapping (on sleeves and waist. Has long sleeve, insulated pull-out liner, many pockets. Has pads in shoulders, elbows, back. Looks great, really comfortable. Wouldn't use for real cold weather. Probably great down to about 45-50'..

How much does the back length differ on the tall sizes? I was able to find the sleeve length differential, but can't find the back length anywhere.

Thanks for your question! The Tour Master Sonora Air Jacket that you are looking at would have a removable back pad but unfortunately not in the arms.

        • A:

You can take the arm armour out. The velcro to access it is at the wrist right by the loop snap for the liner. However, this jacket has soft inner and hard outer armor, so much more abrassion resistant than some other jackets "foam" armor.
