Comments about Tour Master Synergy Electrically Heated Motorcycle Gloves:

After searching for a complete heated glove system, I purchased the Tourmaster, due to its cost with controller. I have been using these in temperatures down to the low 30s, and am very happy with the performance. I have an FJR 1300; the battery is under the front fairing, so I had a very short run for the wiring, requiring part of the length of supplied cable to be bundled to avoid getting tangled.
Definitely recommended; easy installation, great performance and great value.

Tourmaster Synergy Gloves

Comments about Tour Master Synergy Electrically Heated Motorcycle Gloves:

New Mexico weather allows for 300+ days of riding. Winter & fall, while not as extreme as elsewhere in the lower-48, can still get uncomfortably cold. So cold, in fact that heated grips don't always get the job done. A fellow soldier / rider loaned me his Synergy gloves for a week. W/in a day or two I was sold & ordered mine off the internet. If I had any complaint(s) it would be the liner can make it difficult to easily get hands/fingers in or out of the gloves. Also Larges fit snuggly on my fingers but leave almost 1/2in extra length off my finger tips. That said, they work really well w/ the Tourmaster jacket liner & compliment my bike's heated grips nicely.

Comments about Tour Master Synergy Electrically Heated Motorcycle Gloves:

Well guys i do not know yet. It is too darn cold here in Ohio. Single digits this week.
However i did hook them up and they make heat.
A word of warning, I bought large and that is what i normally wear. However they came too tight for comfort. I did not retuen them because the recomendation is to wear them a bit tight for control.
Anyway i need thim as i am troubled a bit with Reynoids and have cold hands. My hope is i can get a couple extra months or fun!!

a three for now

Comments about Tour Master Synergy Electrically Heated Motorcycle Gloves:

Have only used twice.

Realitively reasonable to wire. If though, in fact, your machine has a 12 VDC plug, then I would get the BRW connect option to save asthetics and exposed harness when it is just as simple to connent/disconnect when not in use. Five star may be fitting, but I have not enough use to apply such a high rating. Thanks.

  • Q:

Can these gloves be used by themselves?

The product write-up doesn't state whether these can be used by themselves. Don't need any warming except on my hands. Also, what power cords come with the gloves... any? If no, what cords are available?

  • Q:

    Can my bike handle it??

I have a 1993 suzuki katana 600 and I was wondering if my alternator would be able to handle the 90 watt gloves and 90 watt jacket liner without too much strain. I cant find the specs of the alternator anywhere online and I cant bench test it because the one we have only does delt drive alternators. Or should I just get the 65 watt gloves and jacket liner. And whats the temperature difference between the 2 of them? Thanks for your time.

      A:

Thanks for your question! With the Tour Master Synergy Electrically Heated Gloves and jacket that your looking at you can run the 90 watt gloves and jacket at the same time and your machine could handle that no problem. To get the specifications on the alternator on your machine you would need to check your machines service manual.

  • Q:

What type of power source do these gloves use?

Do I need to "hardwire" a power source, or "cigarette lighter" plug-in, or do they use a portable power pack of some kind?
(I am HOPING they use a power pack, so I can keep them on, and my hands warm, even when I get off the bike...like when gassing up or taking pictures of scenery.)

Actually these gloves come with all the connections needed, even the temp controller unlike all other heated gloves I've seen. Comes with one cable that connects to your battery, temperature controller, and gloves.
