UNI Crankcase Breather Filter

If you are removing original air box this is a must have. Sizing is tricky thanks to another review I managed to select the correct ((outside diameter)). I got the one with a tie wrap and mounting hole this made installation easy. Looks a lot like a K&N filter but not. Quality looks good. No instructions or mounting recommendations so here are mine. Mount away from your legs or shinny trinkets since there is a small amount of smoke the comes out when running at least on my bike. You may want to get a longer piece of hose. Make sure it is the correct material for application.

This filter is of fine build quality and looks like it would do a better job than some of the cheaper crankcase filters out there. However, I wont get a chance to use it because of the unclear sizing on this website. I measured the diameter of the breather vent on my bike and used that as the diameter for the "clamp-on" type filter. Apparently their measurements are for the outer diameter of a clamp on filter... which makes no sense because the inner diameter on the filter is what has to match the outer diameter of the vent on the bike, the outer diameter makes no difference. The product is fine, but bikebandit needs to address this issue or other people are going to be wasting [$] just like I did. I guess there is a chance I was sent the wrong one because nowhere on the package does it say a size...?
