    Comments about Vance & Hines Big Radius 2-into-2 Exhaust:

    I put this on a 2011 VStar 950 Tourer with no fitment problems. Also have a Barons crashbar, so didn't have to put the spacers in for the brake pedal clearance. This pipe looks and sounds mean. It is pretty loud, but I don't think too loud to tick the neighbors off if you go at slow rpms. Used it with a K&N air filter and the stock ECU seems to be happy on the idle and decel. Pops a little on decel but not backfiring. Will probably add a fuel injection controller as it lacks a little umph in the mid and high range when opening the throttle quickly at mid rpms. Once I hit 80 it didn't want to accel much further. I'm leaning towards getting the Fi2000R O2 controller but haven't decided yet.

      what is 2 into 2, plan to buy exausts for my bike but first need to understand 2 into 1 and 2 into 2 which is better

        Thank you for your question! 2 into 2 would mean 2 pipes coming out of the motor and continuing into 2 pipes all the way to the muffler while a 2 into 1 would have 2 pipes coming out the motor and meeting into one muffler. Both are great choices but the 2 into 2 will have a smoother sound along with increased mid range. The 2 into 1 is usually louder but also has great performance gains. You may want to check some online forums to see what may work best on your particular machine.
