  • Q:

Will installing these slip on mufflers require re-jetting of carburetors on 1400 Suzuki Intruder?

      A:

Thank you for your question! Jetting is not required for slip-on exhausts but if you would like to get more performance from the slip-on's along with better fuel consumption a jet kit would be a great addition. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.

  • Q:

Is this a "full system." Meaning, does it come with the chrome shields that cover the stock head pipes?

Thank you for your question. Full System is a kit that includes new headpipes, heatshields, and mufflers. Note possible jetting or F.I. Tuning may be needed. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at Sales@bikebandit.com, Live Chat or by phone toll free at 888-339-3888. We are more than happy to help.

  • Q:

The muffler system that I have is a jardine that crosses over to the right hand side in front of the battery box. All the systems seem to cross behind the rear cylinder.(right in front the fuel shut off valve)They no longer make a system for my bike.
Is there a way I can send you a picture so you can better understand what I need? I like the look of both mufflers on the right hand side, don't want to go back the original system

    Thanks Peter.

  • Q:

Does the Vance and Hines muffler #v19569 for 2006 V-star custom need rejetting ?

Also, is it the same unit for custom and classic models?

      A:

Thanks for your question! When your getting the Vance & Hines Classics II Slip-On you would not need to rejet, if you do end up going with a Full exhaust system, thats when we would suggest the jet kit/power commander.
