        Thanks for your question! Fiber plates and friction plates will be considered the same thing. In your clutch you will have friction and steel plates. Depending on the wear/damage you have you may only need to replace the friction plates. Aftermarket kits will be more economical then ordering the OEM plates which are sold individually. For the Katana we only carry a basic friction plate kit from EBC (CK Series). If you wanted to replace the steel plates as well you would need to order the OEM steel plates.

        Thanks for your question! Unfortunately we are not listing the material the friction plates are made from, but they would be similar to the original clutch plates that came on the model. These will not be an upgraded or race style clutch plate.
