      i have a drz400 that calls for a 35 watt h4 type headlight bulb, but the vast majority of bulbs im finding are 55 watt. would using a 55 instead of 35 watt bulb melt the lens or rob the stator?

        Thanks for your question! That is correct. Infact it could short your electircal system out due to how much more heat can build up in the wires. This may also put more load on your machine regulator rectifier if your machine has one located on it.
