Intend to Write a letter to Yoshimura

Comments about Yoshimura R-77 Slip-On:

Install went well, only suprise was that the slip-ons came with the silencers installed. You will want to remove them because they make it sound like there is an air leak while idling. They send a tool to hook the inside and pull out the insert, but the tool will break before the insert comes out. You can make your own tool with a piece of pipe grooved to hook around the set screw insert welded inside the pipe, you'll see what I mean when you see it. The other complaint is the finish on the cap of the mufflers, My right one appears to have missed one or two coats of clear in the manufacturing process. I am hoping Yoshimura will replace it. It is very dull compared to the left one. But you will love the sound with the insert removed, not too loud, very strong and makes the bike more fun to ride if you can imagine that.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
