    These Yuasa motorcycle batteries are about the best you can get unless you upgrade to the new gel battery technology. For a street motorcycle I would say there is not much difference for the added $$$ to move up to a gel battery, but for off road / adventure motorcycles I would spend the few extra $$$ and go gel.

    Perfect fit

    2005 Triumph Bonneville - the original battery has finally lost it's charge, so a new one was in the cards. This one fits perfect and has the mounting points on the top of the terminals - just like the OEM battery. No re-running the battery cables! Hooray for me!

    Good battery, charges quickly. Mistakenly ordered this one thinking it could fit in '08 SV650SF without a problem, but the battery is to tall. A little modification was needed in the seat and it was good to go after that.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      Is the battery fully prepared and ready for installation? Do I need to add anything or charge it?

The Yuasa Battery will be pre filled with electrolyte, It is recommended to surface charge the battery for about 15 minutes before installation, recommended but not required.
