Useful, but too soft
I installed these while struggling to bleed the brakes on my 1978 GL1000. It's not surprising that 38 year old bleeder valves were starting to have issues, and in that respect, these bleeders are a vast improvement. Furthermore, the check valve that allows pressurized brake fluid out, but prevents air (or brake fluid) from being sucked back in makes bleeding the brakes about a thousand times better than the OEM bleeders.

However, the metal used to make these bleeders is very, very soft, and even though I used an appropriately sized open-end wrench to open and close the bleeder, I've still managed to round off the hex head on one of these already, grrr...

Did the trick
If you had any idea all the work that has gone into rebuilding the brakes on my '77 XS750 cafe racer project, you would already understand what a godsend these bleeders were. Long story short, as the commercial says, "Brake bleeders: $16 and change. Having brakes that no longer dump DOT-3 all over the garage floor over night: priceless."

The only downside is that the threads are coated with some kind of sealant that makes the bleeder feel like it's fully seated long before it really is, so make sure it really is snug. But that's just a minor thing, and not a problem as long as you know to watch out for it.

Buy them -- you won't be dissapointed.

Makes Bleeding Brakes Easy
I've installed these on all of my bikes, and provided the master cylinder is bled, these make bleeding the rest of the system a breeze. While not necessary, a vacuum tool helps speed up the bleeding process by drawing fluid quickly through the system.

Goodridge Brake Speed Bleeder
I installed six of these bleeders on my '07 Goldwing. It made it very easy to run new brake fluid through the brake lines by myself, the Goldwing is more complicated than most motorcycles due to the linked braking system and the anti-dive function. I will still probably buy a vacuum system to do a complete change of fluid (air bleed then fill)but that will probably be easier with these bleeders.

Excellent Device!
I installed these on my GL1000 about three years ago, and am now installing them on all five of our bikes, and the car. Anything that makes doing routine maintenance easier is a definite plus.

Hard Job Made Easy
I've been bleeding brakes on my vehicles fo over 30 years and have dreaded this job until now. I always needed another person to help me. Air would get passed the threads on the bleeder valves so I was never really sure the job was 100%. So I postponed changing the brake fluid in my "93 CBR100f for 10 years. Well, this brake system took 6 speed bleeder valves, a short hose, a catch can and a pint of DOT4 fluid. Once all the bleeders were installed it took 15-20 minutes to do the job. The only snag was that it took me over an hour to figure out that I needed to move one rear brake line 2mm so I could line up the new bleeder valve to scew into the rear caliper. Now I have fresh brake fluid in the system and the brakes work great. No worries about air in the system
I will definately put these on my other bikes and cars.

Very useful, but not perfect
These don't replace a vacuum bleeder, because you still need to get the system mostly full of fluid before you can build up pressure, but once there, these are great for a final bleed.

I've fitted these to all my bikes. They really ought to be OEM equipment.

One caveat is that the seal when open depends on that solid thread sealant. This makes the bleeders a tight fit when initially installed. It can be tough to feel when they're bottomed out in the caliper.
