Product Details

EBC Organic Brake Pads are NAO or Non-Asbestos Organic while still using the popular Dupont Kevlarfiber in conjuction with other high tech fibers. The Aramid and high performance fibers are used widely for their light weight, high strength, abrasion resistance and thermal stability.

These EBC Organic Brake Pads are a superb all around pad for all types of motorcycles or ATV's and prefered by riders who prefer the "feel" of organic pads. Most pads incorporate expansion grooves to reduce noise and prevent cracking. Aramid fiber compound with non-ferrous particles helps to prevent surface "scorching" under load.

All EBC Organic brake pads now incorporate backing plates which are patented with the Nucap NRS hook retention system. This guarantees zero chance of brake pad de-bonding with corrosion or extended use.

   EBC Organic Brake Pads Features:
  • Organic pads are made with man made fibres such as aramid or Twaron bonded together with a petrochemical resin
  • Superior streetbike brake pad
  • 100% ECO friendly
  • Can be used to replace organic or sintered
  • ECE R 90 approved and TÜV tested
  • Low disc abrasion and low dust

John C on Sep 18, 2018
Purchased these many times before, they never squeal, but still provide great stopping. Probably don't last as long as sintered or semi-metallic but provide silent, strong stopping.

CALLED BIKE BANDIT 10 YEARS AGO AND THE GUY WAS GOOD
russell s on Sep 14, 2018
Triumph recommends organic pads to control rotor wear. I hate organics. They just don't last like sintered HHs or provide overall stopping power with heat. But, I do like EBC brakes for performance. I know the organics are quicker to respond in the rain. I just back off a bit in rain when I'm running HHs. EBC sintered HH brakes are on all my other motorcycles.

I have a 2009 Honda CBR600RR. I need to replace both the front brake pads and the rear. Will they fit both my front and rear? I'm confused because certain brake pads say front only, or rear only, but not these. Thanks!
Philip W on Nov 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hey Phillip W.

I can't help you with fitment but I can tell you organic is best for me on the rear brake. The rear brake on a motorbike is a helper to the front. The front brake does most of the work. The organic pads don't grip as hard this will help you not lock up the brake. For the front I like the sintered EBC pads. They grab really well with a lot less pressure. This way you can train yourself to ease on the front brakes and not grab them. Hope this helps. Starrman

which front pads and rear pads are advisable for daytona normal 675 2015 ? sintered ones worn out the disc soon how true is that ?
A shopper on Jul 13, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for the question! Sintered brake pads are an excellent choice if you regularly experience varying riding conditions. please note that if your bike’s rotors are not made to be used with sintered pads, you should not use them. Sintered pads produce more wear on rotors because they are so hard. Below is a link to the brake pads that will fit your Triumph Daytona 677. Is pn 84106 EBC FA199 and pn 84084 EBC FA088?
NorCal_ChadK on Jul 9, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question! Yes part number 84106 is FA199 and 84084 is FA088.
My biggest issue with the OEM brake pads is loud squealing anytime and any pressure when the brakes are applied. Putting a chamfer on the outer edge of the pad helped a little but the noise of the OEM pads on the stainless rotors is terrible. I would like to know if the EBC brake pad material helps this common condition. I have four different 70's Honda models that that exhibit this condition but my CB-750 is by far the worse.
Ibby on Jul 9, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question! Yes this pads will definitely reduce the noise that is happening.

They're pads. They stop the bike. The organic pads are a bit softer than what I had but they work just fine on the back. Easy to order, quick to ship, and a breeze to install.
