Very smooth!
Very convenient! Not the best when using with the Kuryakyn Kinetic Grips, however. Throttle Boss requires 4 Allen screws for installation, but the Kinetic Grips on have 1 allen screw in the end cap. Oh well

Amazing add on
Ride 5 days + a week. I actually have carpel tunnel syndrome and need surgery. This rest helps SO much. Great looking and comfortable. (hint) Ride your bike before installing and watch what RPM you mostly ride at, during install set it where you think it needs to be and rev up your machine to the closest RPM you can. That way once installed you will be very close to where it needs to be set in place.

Comfort with class....
The original version offered cutting edge looks, complimented my Iso Grips and worked as advertised. The tradeoff for the rad design was discomfort which would set in slowly and continue to build on a long ride. Even so, I'd still be using it if this much improved 2nd generation model hadn't come along. The various competing plastic types didn't cut it in the looks department for me, even though they offered greater comfort. I appreciate the effort that went into designing something with great looks, function and most of all....comfort. Thanks Kuryakyn...!!

Great investment for the long-haul!!!
This inexpensive add-on made all the difference in the longer rides. I used to have my thumb and two fingers go numb on my throttle hand but couldn't relax my grip enough to make it better without buying one of those gaudy aftermarket throttle locks. This totally fixed my numbness. My only (small) complaint is that it is slightly too wide, but I bought the larger of the two styles. For in-town riding, the wide one makes it slightly uncomfortable to get a firm grip on the throttle. I think the smaller one would still have all the benefits but allow better gripping when needed. Another plus: it looks like it came from the factory with it - doesn't look like an add-on.
