Very sturdy
Easy to install, much nicer than the plastic ones, well worth it.

Works as advertised!
Even though BikeBandit says this throttle tube wouldn't fit a 2011 KLR650, I bought it anyway, along with the altered quick-turn cam. The cam that comes with the tube is the same as stock. I wanted the quick turn cam to make my stock throttle into a quarter-turn throttle. My hope is that this will make cruising the occasional Interstate easier on my wrist.

Changing the cams is simple. A few taps with a plastic mallet will remove the alumnum cam from the tube, and a few taps more will drive the new cam back on. They fit snug, but not too tight. They definitely won't come off until you want them to.

Changing the the throttle tube was also simple - just take the old one off and put the new one on. No modifications were necessary, and including adjusting the throttle cables, took less than 10 minutes.

The Moose throttle tube is shorter than the stock KLR650 throttle tube. I used an air hose to take off the stock grip without ripping it, with the idea of puting it back on the new throttle tube. Since the new tube is shorter, I needed to get new grips anyway.
