Western Power Sports "Ready to Ride" Batteries meet or exceeds OEM specifications. Includes acid pack and have extremely strong polypropylene cases to withstand impacts and vibration. 1 year warranty on all batteries if properly pre-serviced and charged. Anti sulfate treated for longer life. Shelf life almost infinite due to dry-charged plates. Designed for higher cold cranking amp capacity. Comes with pre-filled acid pack.

Sitting around too long maybe? Wont maintain more than 11 volts even after charging for 8 hours at 750 milliamps, or charging from the bike. Probably a bad cell.

Not ready to ride
It isn't "ready to ride" as the name implies. You add the acid (which is standard for these wet batteries), but then you also need to put the battery on a charger before using it. Not unreasonable steps, and pretty standard, but not ready to ride. That being said, it seems to be a perfectly good battery and was easy to set up.
