My dang horn fell of when the bracket broke in half and this horn looks just like my stock horn looked so I bought it.
Bruce T on Apr 23, 2019
My horn ceased to function. It no longer made any sound at all. I needed a replacement horn, so I picked this one as it closely resembles the size and mounting of my previous horn.

Looks to be close to an OEM fit (Honda Aero) and I hoping for a bit more in the volume dept than the original. Looks good - I'll take a shot for the price.

Is there a way of "hearing" what this horn will sound like? (Before purchasing it)
jimbo on Aug 13, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question! Unfortunately we would not have a sound sample of this since one is not provided by the manufacturer of the product. This would be your standard horn.
Is it possible to hear the horn before buying it? I just don't want another that sounds like my stock horn.

Hello, will this horn work on my 2003 Honda Shadow Sabre?
amit s on May 6, 2019
BEST ANSWER: yes,, this will work on your bike. You might have to bend the mounting tab a bit.
What is the overall size of the horn?
null on Jan 28, 2011
BEST ANSWER: 3-7/8" in diameter, and 3/4" wide. The manufacturer lists it as 4". It's basically a 3-1/2" horn with a cover on it. The actual horn is identical in size to the horn on my 1986 Honda Magna VF700C.

Motorcycle Horns
I was very pleased with these horns. Finding "general" parts is sometimes a challenge. I have an 1986 honda Magna VF700. An earlier customer happened to have the SAME bike and said they were perfect. They were. My only issue were the mounting plates. There are a pair of black plates that come with each horn. For stability, there is a hole in the middle of the plate that lines up with a finger for stability. I bought 2 horns. One horn came with 2 plates with the middle hole. The other horn did not. Because I purchased 2 horns and got lucky with the one horn coming with 2, I just stole one from the one that had it. I would recommend the horns ALWAYS coming with plates with that middle hole. They do work great. I removed the fake chrome cover - too big. My bike had black horns anyway so that wasn't a problem. The covers just clip on.

It beeps just fine
The horn works, simple as that. I just needed to replace my factory Yamaha one which was on eternal backorder from the factory so I bought this instead. The 5 star is actually for Bike Bandit. I got this thing the day after I ordered it, no extra shipping costs. Didn't really need it that fast but I was happy when it showed up. I don't know if it shipped from California but I live in Maryland. Nice job fella's. (and gals).

Keep the shiny side up!
Good looking horn that I used in restoring my old 1976 CB750 Honda. I mounted it to the u-bolt on the highway bars on the left side where the horn wiring was located.

High Pitched Meep Meep
It's definitely more affordable, but sounds like a scooter horn, not that of a Harley. No power and will be lucky to even get any attention, not that horns on a bike ever do.
