LED's look good, on my pickup flatbed put out much more light. More light on back of motorcycle can't hurt.

BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question! If the bulb you are replacing functions as both a running light and brake light then you would need the 3157 option. If you are replacing the turn signal bulb you would need the 1157 (running light and flasher) or 1156 (flasher only).
Could this bulb replace the 12v-5/21W bulb that is in my Ducati Monster M1000s? It is a twist-on with 2 contacts on the bottom of the bulb.

BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question! This bulb is offered in "types" that should be coded/stamped on the bulb you have. Ex. if you have an 1156 Style bulb you would order the 1156 bulb.
Will I need a load resistor or have to replace the turn signal flasher to use these bulbs as a turn signal and maintain a normal flash rate?

BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question! With the information your looking for unfortunately this will vary per machine, the manufacturers will not provide this information to us. You would need to check your machines service manual in order to get this information that you’re looking for.
What are the descriptive details for these lamps?

What incandescent bulbs are they equivalent to? What will they replace? What are the sizes of their bases and how many contacts to they have? What is the current draw for each of these lamps? Will they require load balancing as I have seen some others do?

BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question! In order to match you up with the Bluhm Enterprises L.E.D. Taillight Bulbs we would need to know your wattage and base type for your OEM stock bulb.
How am I supposed to know which #s are right for me??

You don't list any type of conversion to correspond with the taillights. There are different #s for them and I have no way of telling what that difference is! There are no pics either so that's also not helping.

Not bad
It's a bit brighter when the key it turned on before starting the motor (~12 volts), but it's slightly dimmer than the stock bulb with the motor running (~14 volts). The red from the LED bulb is much richer and deeper in color than the stock, incandescent bulb though. I'm planning to run one of these and one incandescent for now.
