Hi; I'm confused: The picture looks exactly like K&S's switch.
Trail Tech's website shows a switch with an orange slide button.
Is this a different Trail Tech switch or is it actually a K&S switch? Thanks;

Great Switch
I installed this switch on my '85 XL600R to operate a second set of lights off of a high output stator. Being that the headlight circuits are a/c, both the load and the regulator must be disconnected from power if the load is to be switched off, and the regulator works be absorbing "extra" wattage to keep the system at 14v. This switch works out well in this application because it has a secondary wire that is on in both "on" switch positions, with two other wires that are on in one position each. In other words, it allows you to disconnect the power from both the load and the regulator, while allowing for two separate loads.
And here I was thinking I'd never be able to run dual beam secondary lights.

Wrong size didn't fit
Trail Tech told me this switch would fit a 1" handlebar but it does not. It is strictly for a 7/8" bar. I will need to return it as I can't use it. Other then that it is a nice handlebar switch for a 7/8" bar. Wish Trail Tech or somebody made it or one like it to fit a 1" handlebar but I can't find one anywhere. Guess I will mount a rocker switch in my nose fairing as I have no place else to put it on a naked bike. I was going to use it as a 3 way switch to control heated grips, high, low, off. Too bad the description was not clear about the sizing.
