It was recommended to me and appears to include more parts than some other kits. Hopefully it will live up to expectations.

Does this kit come with full instructions? Also, what specialty tools will I need to perform the replacement?
MassiveMassis on Aug 23, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for you for your question! This will not come with step by step instructions since each machine can vary on install. For install procedure you should refer to the full service manual for the machine. The service manual will also provide you with the information showing what special tools are needed if any. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.
Ok I read another question that was asked that answered my first question and I see it says that...Hot Rods Bottom End kits offer you the choice between Hot Rods Heavy Duty OE replacement crankshafts or Hot Rods Heavy Duty Stroker crankshafts... I only would need special piston. And machining done if I was to get the hot rods stroker crank shaft but when I go to order this it doesn't give me the option to choose o.e. crank shaft or stroker crank shaft I want the oe option it says I can choose from how do I do this?
Montana O on Jul 1, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Montana, thank you for the question. After clicking on a few different machines I have determined that the option is only available for certain makes and models. If it is available for your machine it will have two different selectors, one being standard and the other stroker. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll-free at 1-888-339-3888. Hello what does it mean in the notes at the bottom of this rebuild kit Head chamber Head chamber must be machined 2mm to accept longer stroke requires special piston... So I have to buy a piston and have it machines just to be able to slap this on my Honda I thought it says it's an exact fit if it doesn't work with the piston that's in it already and it's got a longer stroke how is I an exact fit?
Montana O on Jul 1, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hello Montana, this is a stroker kit meaning the connecting rod from the piston to the crankshaft is slightly longer than the original resulting in more power. Since the crankcase is precisely measured to only accept the original length connecting rod the case must be cut/ machined to accept the larger crankshaft assembly. About the piston, you can run any piston you'd like, most people run high compression pistons to get the full power of the longer stroke of the engine. Please give us a call and provide us with the year, make and model of your machine, one of our sales reps would be more than happy to assist you in finding a set up that works best for you. Crankshaft kit but no counterbalance bearings.
The crank kit was exactly as it stated a crank kit. It’s stated that it came with bearings. I assumed that it meant the counter shaft bearings also. I was disappointed that it did not include them. It appears that it came with everything else but the counterbalance bearings. I feel the description needs to be more explicit about what is/not contained in the kit. Packaging was excellent and feels like good quality. No counter balance bearings is my only qualm.
