Are the steel bases necessary when I put the new valves in?
anthony r on Oct 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question! The steel bases are highly recommended when replacing valves. Feel free to contact us if you have any other concerns.
Do I have to change the stock valve guides to run the stainless valves. The titanium valves went bad in my 2006 450 sx but the guides are fine. I was told I can't run staineless steel valves on guides used to run titanium in race car engines. Was wondering if this is the same?

BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. You can run the stainless steel valves if the KTM is equipped with steel or bronze valve guides. If the bike isn't equipped standard with the guides in mention replace them too! Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll free at 888-339-3888. We are more than happy to help.
