If the oil cooler was a "Add-on" item then you may want to check with the manufacturer of that item to see what they recommend. If the cooler is stock then this stock filter for your machine would work just fine.
Is this an internal cannister type filter? It says that it is Black? Will this fit my 2006 Yamaha 1100 cc V-Star Silverado, which uses an internal cannister filter?

BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. There are only 2 options for the 1998 CB750 # 24192 is a standard black filter. Part # 24193 is an optional chrome filter. Either 2 of these options will fit your bike.

I have a Yamaha XVS1300CTW The stock oil filter is 5DM-13440-00-00. I looked up the HiFlow filter number of HF147. I would like to make sure that this is the part I will be geting Your part number is 24160 but it does not give the HiFlow # and the Yamaha # is not the same. Just want to make sure before ordering. Is this a hinged (2 section) oil filter, required on the R80RT due to the difficulty of installing a long one section filter.
This difficulty is caused by the fairing and exaust pipe.

I see that it's been answered about the o rings, and the crush washer having to be bought elsewhere on the site- so, you're not going to have to answer that one again.

However, for my specific bike, is this the filter for the airhead with an oil cooler, or without?

I'd be interested to see if you can distinguish the difference between the two as required.
