What size do I need for a 1985 Honda Trx250 ?
Danny B on Oct 28, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Danny, thank you for the question. Unfortunately we do not have records on what size air filter a 1985 Honda TRX250 requires. Here is a link to the original air filter: https://www.bikebandit.com/oem-parts/1985-honda-trx250/o/m2556#sch9606 . You can order that or if you still want the pod filter you will need to take some measurements of the flange and you will need to determine if you need an oval or round tapered style cleaner. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll-free at 1-888-339-3888. What size filter do I need for a Honda 50 crf?
Gary M on May 17, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hello Gary, you would need a 28mm I.D. POD. Unfortunately, BikeMaster does not offer a 28mm filter. I attached a link for an Emgo air filter that is very similar to the BikeMaster filter and is offered in a 28mm. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll-free at 1-888-339-3888. BikeMaster Pod
Seems well made and it is my second bikeMaster air pod. The first fell off due to the vibrations of my engine, bumps and a new fabricated air system. A drill bit and a push nut will prevent this one from falling off... Ever!.

It says it's a washable filter but it did not come with any directions for use or cleaning. I am familiar with K&N filters and have their recharge kit which I will have to assume it will work. The K&N filters come precharged... This filter did not seem greasy like the K&N filters from the oil but it didn't say it needed to be charged either. I assume it came ready to use. Would have preferred better directions about its care and use.

I rebuilt the top end of my scooter with a big bore kit. A larger carb needed a larger filter. This fit very well and looks a lot better than the former plastic box. Came with a narrow clamp that tightened easily enough but replaced the clamp with a heavier duty ring bcz of the push pin screws I put in. The old clamp is just large enough but had no extra length to get over that screw.

My bike runs smooth and I am looking forward to the extra breath ability of a larger filter.

On-line Ordering Experience
Need a new filter, received within 2-days.
I, however ordered the wrong size/air flow.
Return was simple and seemless. Ordered K&N
and it performed as expected!

Universal POD Filter review
I used this filter on a modified inlet air duct for my '84 and '85 700 Honda Shadows (I had to remove the factory filter to make room for a bigger battery - got tired of fighting the regular "T" battery replacement grind).
The filter is stiff enough to be durable, and the elastomer part is pliable and easy to get over my 54mm inlet pipe.It appears to be a well made product, flows freely, has lots of surface area so it should go awhile before cleaning, and freed up the space I needed for the big battery. I'm happy.
