The jet that I have , is plugged up down the center, my question is,should you be able to see through the piolit jet?
null on Dec 10, 2010
BEST ANSWER: Yes, you should be able to see through the jet! If you can't it's clogged and must be cleaned or replaced. Be cautious when cleaning and checking to "See through" if you are talking about a size 35 or 38 or the like, the hole is smaller than a human hair. The ONLY way I have found to "See" through them is to take a piece of cardboard or thick paper, put a small hole in the cardboard, "thread: the jet into the cardboard and place a bright light behind the cardboard, you can then see if the light can be seen through the jet. I'm not a pro mechanic, but with 4 motorcycles, a scooter, a go-kart and dozens of previous bikes I have had to learn to clean/inspect.replace jets.
Will this work on a stock 1984 Honda Shadow?

BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question! Unfortunately we would not be able to determine this. If your machine has a 22 series carburetor on it this will work for you no problem.

Not for Honda SL350-k1
Can't find a 42 slow jet for my Honda 350-K1. Honda does not carry them nor does BikeBandit in their fiche. Took a chance these might fir since they look alike but the threaded area is too wide to fit mt Keihnin Carbs. Still looking for 42s that fit after installing EMGO shorty mufflers.
