Hi, will this carb fit on a 1972 Yamaha RD250? The bike has 2 carbs. Is there a right and left or are they the same? Thanks for your time.
Dan on Jun 23, 2011
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question! in order for us to find an aftermarket carb for your machine we will need the following measurements from you: The bore size ( this is the inner diameter of the carb were the slide is) The Spigot size ( This is the inner diameter of the opening that faces your airbox ) The Flange size ( This is the measurement between the two bolts of your flange ) These are all taken in millimeters, once we get these we can see if we offer a compatible carb
Good evening. I was wondering. Will this carbuetor fit my 1983 Venture Royale XVZ1200? It has the 1200cc engine with four carbs. Also is there a core on carbuetor? Can I replace one carbuetor at a time? Or must i replace all four together? Does this carb have the vacuum port for the MAP sensor for the ignition module?
Andrew on May 18, 2011
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. These carbs are intended for single cylinder motocross machines. Unfortunately it will take major modification for these to work on your machine. You can replace one carb at a time but we usually recommend using the factory carbs. This carb will not have a vacuum port for a MAP sensor.
