Will this Carb work on a DR350SEV?

I have a completely stock carb currently on my bike which shows to be a BST33SS. I am currently having to rebuild yearly. I have an airbox mod that has been done to the bike

My 3 questions are:

1. Will this carb fit my bike without modification (other than the choke being in a different orientation) If not which one(s) does (do)?

2. How will this affect my performance? (better or worse?

3. Are the adjustments easy to get to?

Thanks

Would this be a bolt on application or would other part for it I have a 2000 vn800a
Daniel on Jan 5, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question! This would mount with boots and clamps. These parts would not come with the carb unit. If your machine uses a boot style mount these items would be on the machine. If your machine does not come with this style carb mounting you may want to check some online forums to see if this style can be converted to work on your machine. We are only able to confirm fitment on items specifically made for that exact year, make, and model machine. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.

would this carb be considered a pumper carb ?
chrisxr on Oct 11, 2010
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question! This would not be a pumper carb. Pumper carbs, also called Diaphragm or Pressure Pulse Carburetors, are used primarily on chain saws, weed eaters and other small engines. The unique thing about pumper carbs is that they can work in any position because they have no float bowel and they do have a fuel pump.
