Is the 32mm OK on a new 230cc Honda?
A shopper on May 27, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for the question. This is a universal product and is made to fit a wide range of machines. Some modification may be required and we cannot guarantee fitment. To see if this part will work for you please measure the bore size, mounting sizes along with the type of carb needed for your machine (flat slide, round slide, etc.)Unfortunately we are not provided with any carburetor size specifications. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone at 888-339-3888. We are more than happy to help.
I have a 1985 honda xl250 r twin carb and I have seen a conversion from two carb to one by modifying the intace manifliod . which would suit best?
Paul N on Feb 7, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hello Paul, the carbs you are asking for are different sizes. For a custom build recommend consulting a shop that specializes in these types of modifications. There is more than just making a manifold and adding a universal carb. From having two carburetors to just one you will need to add a carb that will supply the engine with the same amount of fuel. Jetting is another key factor when doing a mod like this. We would love to help but unfortunately we don't have any specs for a one off build like this. We recommend sticking with the original dual carb setup for safety and performance. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll free at 1-888-339-3888. We are always more than happy to help.
What carburetor is best suited for a 1978 Honda express NC50?
A shopper on Jun 3, 2019
BEST ANSWER: We recommend going with the original carb as it was designed and tuned for that specific engine on that machine. If you are wanting to go with an aftermarket carb, this VM-Style should work for you. Since it is a universal carb please measure the bore on your NC50 where the carb goes and compare it to the sizes on the web page. The jetting and cable may also need to be modified. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll-free at 1-888-339-3888. will a set of these work on yamahaxv1100 virago?
maxxdogg on Dec 24, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. The VM style carbs are primarilly for 2 stroke applications. 4 stroke applications require a flat slide carb like the Mikuni TM or TMX carbs. Keihin has an FCR carb for 4 stroke MX applications. You would need to know the mounting sizes for each end of the carb along with the bore size needed. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll free at 888-339-3888. We are more than happy to help.

Does it include choke cable/ choke?
Jer on Aug 22, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. The VM style carbs have an enriching plunger built in the side of the carb body, commonly installed in off-road race applications. The VM carb also features easy access to the main jet by removing an access nut, making it unnecessary to remove float bowl every time. No this style does not need a choke cable.

Mikuni VM32 carbs
These carbs work great on older airhead BMWs. For the lney they are the best choice available. The only negative, is they don't give you a choice in jets, so you have to buy the correct size jets separately.
