With this being installed on my 2014 stratoliner deluxe, do I have to do any modifications of the fuel system? i.e.rejet.
Dione S on Sep 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hello Dione, the 2014 Yamaha Statoliner is fuel injected and cannot be jetted. To improve fuel performance on fuel injected bike some type of electrical controller or tune would need to be added to your machine. In this case where you are adding a high performance air intake you will definitely need to add more fuel to the mix by adding one of these tuners. I have a pro r and I have checked and have good vaccum but the butterfly valves stay wide open at all times. I can move them by hand ,but the vaccum doesn't make them close when I let off the throttle. Help?
Kirk G on Jan 8, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question! The Hypercharger uses vacuum to close the butterflies. If your vacuum line is disconnected, blocked or leaking the butterflies will stay open. If you can't move the butterflies by hand, you likely have a problem with stuck linkage in the Hypercharger mechanism. The butterflies are open in the absence of engine vacuum since they are controlled by an 'open fail' vacuum pod. At lower RPMs (high engine vacuum) the flies remain partially closed. As RPMs climb, engine vacuum falls off and the spring behind the diaphragm in the vacuum pod overpowers it causing the flies to open. There is a tension screw in the center of the vacuum pod that can be adjusted once the jamb nut is loosened. Check this adjustment, if this doesn't work give us a call. looks and more air
I needed more air brought into my 06 honda vtx 1300 after I jetted and put on new pipes. This guy did the trick. However, the mounting bracket going to the front spark plug and the one going to the bottom towards the engine housing were not bent to properly fit. I bent them a little by hand and am sure damaged their integrity. I think this product is more about looks. However, it works and looks awesome.

Easy install
Great product its well worth the money. Installed easly as i did mine in the parking, only took 30 min with basic tools on a VTX 1300. Rides like stock except my shin hits the cleaner while braking. Overall more power on low and top end RPMS.

More Power, YES!
I did not think it was possible to get more power out of my vn2000 rogue, but crack the throttle and the beast launches! Bike breathes better and mileage is improved over the stocker. Only slight drawback for me it it does stick out and I can bump my shin on it, but does not hamper drive-ability or comfort at all. Makes the Sampson Rip Saws scream!
