The right way to close a chain
DID chain use DID rivet link. The best and secure way to close a chain. The cutting and riveting tool that you need for this is a worthwhile investment. To do the job easily and right, use the KM500R DID chain cutting and riveting tool.

this one worked
this link worked, the first one I installed bound and later caused vibration, maybe was defective, the side plate wouldn't stay in place without tightening to binding point.
Not a fan of rivet links find them hard to install.
This link installed properly.
