Product Details

Race Tech Gold Valve Emulators are tunable valves that sit on top of the damping rods & are held in place with the main springs. They make damping rod forks perform like well-tuned cartridge forks. Simple to install & completely tunable for all conditions & rider preferences. Sold in pairs.

Was servicing forks, upgrading springs to fit my weight, and thought to add this with the hopes of greatly improving my ride and comfort. Race tech seems to enjoy a great reputation on the Internet.

will the instructions be included for each and every application?
asphalt cowboy on Feb 24, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question! instructions should be included in every box but they can be general at times and not exactly bike specific but the machines may share the same set up so either way the job is done correctly. If you would like help with install we suggest contacting Race-Tech directly as they have a very helpful staff that will help you with the process. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.
How difficult is it to install these? Thanks
Pete C on Nov 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It's really not that hard if you're one who likes to get his hands dirty. All you need to do is drill larger holes in the dampening rod and trim the spring spacer to length. The hardest part is trying to find the oil level. But even that is not hard with the help of a buddy and some creative thinking. These emulators come with all the URL addresses you will need to help you get the tuning in the ballpark and getting them installed. Hope that helps.

Great bang for the buck!
Obviously not as good as actual race forks, but sure help a lot in the hard woods riding. They really help soften up the hard, sharp impacts, and aren't all that hard to install.
