Progressive Suspension Overview

Product Details

Progressive Suspension Fork Springs

For better handling over bumps (big and small) and to get rid of bottoming out on rough terrain, Progressive Suspension Fork Springs are perfect. These babies also solve problems like saggy front fork springs and brake "lurch." They’re easy-to-install springs that make a load of difference when it comes to improved ride and smooth sailing, whether you adventure on pavement, dirt, or another kind of tundra.

About Progressive Suspension Fork Springs

Riders who journey on long cruises, short trips through town, or laps around the track want the same thing - great suspension and excellent control. Progressive Suspension Fork Springs offer these features for a good ride. These gems might be exactly what you need if you sense your shocks are the reason behind your teeth-shattering bounces as you hit potholes or objects on the road. The Progressive Suspension Fork Springs lend to a superior ride for sport bikes, street bikes, and cruisers, and they turn horrible into comfortable, giving you a soft start and continued smooth sailing as you pick up speed.

Why Progressive Suspension Fork Springs

Progressive Suspension Fork Springs carry an advantage over other springs. They offer a rising rate resistance to compression, that lets a rider have an excellent cruise or rocket ride despite what obstacles might be in the way of your motorcycle. Progressive Suspension Fork Front Springs feature a soft initial spring rate for a premium ride. They give you improved handling while retaining OEM geometry, and their progressively wound design provides optimal resistance to bottoming out as the springs compress.

If you want the best for your motorcycle, Progressive Suspension Fork Springs are the best. They’re sold in pairs and they’re available on BikeBandit.com for a guaranteed low price. When you purchase these fork springs from BikeBandit.com, you get a stellar product at a deal, and you get a ride free from front-end dive during braking along with more comfort.

Features

  • Soft initial spring rate for a plush ride

Do I need to install spacers?
A shopper on Jul 31, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It comes with a length of pvc pipe to cut the exact length you need. It also comes with a chart telling you exactly how long the spacer should be cut according to your particular model motorcycle. It's super easy. Great springs btw, night and day difference on my 1993 honda shadow vt1100c.
Do these springs extend your forks?
A shopper on Mar 30, 2018

Will I get more ground clearance?
Dreamer M on Jul 3, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question! If your current springs are worn out and sagging, these new springs will stiffen up your suspension, just enough for a comfortable ride, making it seem like you have increased the ground clearance but in reality you have just gone back to the original ride height. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll free at 1-888-339-3888. We are always more than happy to help.

Do you need to replace the seals if installing these springs in place of the OEM seals on a 2001 Bandit 1200S?
Thomas B on Jun 30, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Thomas, thank you for the question. You don't absolutely need to but it is strongly recommended. You're already there. It's better to be preventative than to have to take it apart again later. A new seal, springs and fork oil would be ideal. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll-free at 1-888-339-3888. I installed my springs and noticed 1 was about 3/16 of an inch longer than the other. Could this be the cause of my high speed wobble(at 72 mph)?
Jimmy A on Jun 11, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Most likley not..... if you are experiencing hi speed wobble, check stem bearing specs, alignment of rear wheel, front tire/wheel true up...3/16 difference is not your issue

Are these progressive wound springs or constant wound springs just made by the brand progressive? The picture shows progressive wound but I have been burned before.
null on Apr 22, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Well ,that was no answer at all from the customer service person.
I wanted to know too so I went to the Progressive Suspension website.
It appears that their reason for making these is to make progressively wound springs that are an improvement over stockers.
I believe that these are progressively wound springs made by Progressive Suspension.

Progressive Fork Springs - Royal Enfield Continental GT650
Although no aftermarket fork springs were listed for a 2019 Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 on the Bike Bandit web site (or any other web site) I decided from past experience using Progressive brand fork springs in all my bikes that I could utilize a part number from another cycle with the same diameter, approximate length stanchions and approximate weight listed by application. I chose the part number associated with BMW K75's and was completely satisfied with the decision. Perfect fit, and detailed instructions for universal determination of required preload spacer lengths (included), etc. 20 minute swap with perfect fit and function. Looking at size and construction of the factory RE springs confirms what I already knew..... My size and weight makes it mandatory for me to have replaced all my fork springs with Progressives. Bike Bandit web site, communication and delivery was top notch.
