I destroyed my last set of shocks by driving in a manner some have described as far to fast and far too furious. This seems like it will remedy the issue.

How do you adjust the shocks?
A shopper on Feb 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for the question! You adjust the tension of the spring on the bottom of the shock by using the spanner wrench that is included with the Progressive Suspension 12 Series Shocks. Please note that the springs are sold separately. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll free at 888-339-3888. We are more than happy to help.

Would I be able to reuse my stock 1972 XL 250 springs on these shocks?
Benjamin C on Sep 13, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Benjamin, thank you for the question. I would not be able to guarantee that your stock springs would transfer over but as long as your current shock is 13.5" in length I don't see why it would not work. Do I recommend it? No, springs wear out over time and are compressed many times over the years. A new set of springs and new shocks would really help your bike feel almost brand new again. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll-free at 1-888-339-3888. Tom D on Sep 4, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Tom, thank you for the question. For quality assurance on a matching new pair, please give us a call at 1-888-339-3888 or email us at [email protected] One of our sales reps will ask you to provide him the length specifications, and will ask you a few questions in regards to the settings and springs.
