What is the difference between standard an heavy duty?
Beverly C on Jul 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for the question Beverly! Standard shocks are for the average single rider while the heavy-duty shocks are better fitted for the touring rider carrying passengers or a body weight of 225 lb. and up. shock ?
Gregg D on May 29, 2019

(11, 11.5, 12, 12.5, and 13) ". For a accurate replacement, I recommend measuring your OE length. If you need help with measuring your shock length, please feel free to contact our sales/customer service department at 1-888-339-3888. We are always more than happy to help.

The best riding improvement you can ever do!
I have yet to have “The War Department” ride with me; I weigh 235. I will say that after installing the shocks, to me, it made a HUGE difference. I have back issues & with a Mustang Seat with backrest, I no longer have back pain when riding. In fact, I just got back from a 1,322.3 mile road trip. Now, I also recommend Progressive’s fork springs; it will do you no good to have a progressive suspension in the back and linear in the forks. When compressing, you will note that the back will compress differently; with the fork springs in combination to the shocks, the difference is significant. I initially only had the rear shocks and upon having the Progressive fork springs installed, the ride comfort is excellent!
