nice hardback cover
Im using this manual to keep up with maintence and do any repairs needed on my GS500. It has come in very handy so far while changing a tire, adjusting the chain, bleeding the brakes, etc. It is a pretty descriptive book and should be able to help me get through any repairs i would need to do. A nice feature it has is a difficult rating next to each section to show how difficult of a task something is to complete and if any skill level would be able to do the job or if it might need to go to a shop to complete. I do all the work on mine which is why I bought the manual in the first place. One of the few negatives about the manual is that the measurements listed in it are mostly in metric measurements and will have to be converted for most American users. It can get a little frustrating at times but is easily overcome. The other down side is that some of the pictures aren't of the best clarity. They are in black and white which is alright, but some of the are very dark and hard to tell what is going on. Usually you can decifer them after reading the descriptions a couple times though. Overal it is a very good manual and should get you through almost anything you would need to do on your machine.

Great Manual
This is a great manual for working on my GS500. I basically liked everything about it except the wiring diagrams. For someone who itsn't familiar with wiring diagrams it will confuse you. This is technically the case for any wiring diagram though not just the one in this book. Everything else was great and explained how to do everything very well. I would definately recomend this to anyone else.

Haynes Manual Suzuki GS500E 89-08
I received a used and slightly neglected Suzuki GS500F 2004 as a "Gift". I normally mess with Mustangs so it's been a bit of a fun challenge to work on the miniature parts on the bike. So the book is a great reference for playing catch up on the required maintenance schedule that have been missed and great help with the step-by-step repairs on the dirty little carbs.
