Good product
Kreem is a good product that has been around for many, many years. I would recommend it. I had a motorcycle fuel tank with a pin hole in the bottom. The instructions tell you to coat the inside then let it rest. Repeat coating and let rest on another side. I repeated this process all day but the material was so thin I could not keep it from leaving only a very thin film. In the end I let the tank set so the material would settle on the bottom to seal the pinhole.

very happy
Bought two three wheelers that had sat for 17 years. Gas tanks looked like someone had thrown up in them. Worked like a charm. Sealed off three pinholes. I couldn't be more satisfied with the outcome

Great product
I did 2 tanks, a 2 and 3 gallon tank. One was so bad this even sealed a pinhole. This was about 5 years ago. I still have both bikes. This is very time consuming but well worth it. Easy cleanup, researched the internet waste rust can be poured in the yard and feeds the plants. Pour the unused sealer back in the can for reuse or open the can until it is hard and dry, throw away the can. Cleans right up with acetone. Don't use acetone based carb cleaners though after installation. Both tanks still look like they have a new paint job in them.

Great Stuff
Follow directions and you will have a poly layer inside your tank to seal in fuel and protect the interior of your steel tank. Part A dissolves rust and etches the inside of your tank for superior adhesion. Do NOT skip this step. B solution removes moisture for an awesome bond with the poly cream step 3. Take the time to do it right and you'll be a happy camper for years to come.

Does the job
This kit is for a 3 gal. tank. the coating with do a 5 gal. tank or maybe larger but the etching chemical will only do 3 gal. The instructions say to turn the tank as the chemical dissolves the rust but as soon as the chemical is not touching a metal surface it flash rusts. buy enouph etching chemical to fill the tank, this would make the process much easier. If you are doing a serious restoration pay to have the tank fixed properly.

GREAT GREAT GREAT!!!!
I have used this product several times and absolutely swear by it. Whether you have a newer tank or old rusty one, you should use this! I have sealed many tanks with holes and saved A LOT of time and money. DO NOT think you can do this in a day. For the chemicals to work, you need to plan on being down for a couple days, but very well worth the time.

Great Product
I'm helping a friend restore an old bike. The tank was completely rusted inside. I thought we would have to buy a new tank. I used the Kreem combo pack. The rust remover cleaned about 95% of the internal rust.

Pros:
-It worked exactly as advertised

Cons:
-It took several hours to re-line the tank, but the results were well worth the effort.
-I have 5 gallons of acid solution that I have to dispose of somehow.

Kreem Fuel Tank Liner
Overall, the kreem gas tank sealant works well. I bought the whole kit (rust remover, sealant prep, and sealant). The rust remover works very well, and it's the easiest step in the process. My tank had only moderate rust, and after i used the rust remover there was no rust to be seen. The diluted rust remover solution was pretty easy to funnel into a container (spare gas can) for future use.
the tank prep is supposed to get all water out of the tank in preparation for the sealant. I'd say it was moderately successful. Don't bother trying to funnel the fluid back into its original container. If your gas tank is anything like mine, it's not going to happen.
The sealant went on pretty evenly and dried well. Make sure you have something to catch the excess, or it will make a mess.
I used a cork to seal up the tank outlet and a rubber band w/ latex glove to seal the gas cap opening. worked very well.
Pros:
- Easy to clean and seal tank
- Seal seems to be solid, at least after a few weeks use.
Cons:
- Time Consuming Process
- Messy, hard to dispose of excess material
