Great Kit
My brother bought this kit for me for Christmas the year I first started riding. Since then, it has all but replaced the OEM took kit on my DL-650 V-Strom. In fact, I like this kit so much that I am thinking about buying a second kit to carry in my second bike, a rebuild project sans took kit. Sure, I could just pull the Cruz kit from my Strom and just go with Suzuki's OEM kit, but when I need a tool on the side of the road (it's happened...), I pull out the Cruz kit.

First, this kit is organized much more conveniently than the OEM kit. The OEM kit dumps all of the tools together into a snap-top bag. In this kit, every tool has a place, and they are all easily accessible. Second, the tools are very high quality, unlike the pot metal tools in the oem kit (the pliers in particular in the OEM kit are very cheaply made).

In fact, about the only reason to carry the OEM kit rather than this kit is for the axle nut wrenches. If the Cruz kit had 24mm and 25mm (IIRC) wrenches for the axle nuts, I'd ditch the OEM kit entirely, and truthfully, torqued to the specs in the manual, I doubt the OEM axle nut wrenches have sufficient leverage to remove the rear wheel on the side of the road.

About the only thing gripe I have with this kit -- and I had to really think to come up with one -- is that there is no room to add to the kit. All of the available space is used by the tools that Cruz provides. It would be nice to have room to add tire levers, wrenches for the axle nuts and a set of safety wire pliers. However, for the most part, this is a very complete kit and will likely provide all the tools you need for all but the most catastrophic repairs on the road. If you ride a bike with tubeless tires, buy a tire plug kit, and odds are you will never need a tool that is not already included in this kit on a roadside repair.

Makes a great gift for BMW owners
My brother rides a R1150RT. My wife drew his name in our annual family Christmas gift exchange. When I saw this toolkit advertised in Bike Bandit's email and read the reviews I knew it was the perfect gift for him. And now when we go touring I have a ready source for tools if I need them!

About as nice a kit as you'll find
I have several Cruztools kits; Bikebandit had a special on this kit, knocking something like 20% off, I had a gift card, and the AMA discount, so I got this kit for less than the smaller kit that has everything but the ratchets. The tools are great, the tool roll is great, and there's nothing wrong with the kit. It really is so much easier to grab this as opposed to running back and forth in and out of the garage.

The only thing that I question is that I think they'd be better off including a few more wrenches, or perhaps a needle nose pliers, rather than the rachet and sockets that are the same size as the wrenches. It makes the kit a lot larger, but I'm not so sure that the extra cost and size is outweighed by the usefulness. Listening, CruzTools?

perfect assortment of tools
I would like a few more tools in this assortment but the most common tools are included in the kit.
Thanks to someone for putting together this kit as the tools that came with the bike are not very useful.

Awesome motorcycle tool kit
OK so I bought a brand new BMW r1200 GS Adventure and was tickled with my new toy that is until the salesman handed me my "tool kit". It consisted of a plastic tool to loosen the oil filler cap and well... that's it... What a joke. BMW should be ashamed of themselves. This is an adventure bike bike, right? The tool kit on my KTM 990 Adventure was the bomb. It had everything I needed, plus a bottle opener for after the ride! Well I purchased one of these and I must say it is the nicest tool kit I have ever had. It has all the fixin's. I am still PO'd at BMW, but I am very happy with my new Cruz Tools. Keep up the good work!
