I had bought this gauge set a while ago. I sent an e-mail about this about a month ago asking how to adjust/dampen the unit. This was my first time using it and the dial indicators were bouncing all over the place.. NOT USABLE... I know my purchase is way out of any time line for returning but is there any way to adjust them ??? As they are now they are not working... I did find the small front screw to adjust the position of the display face but the needles just jump so much I can not get a good reading

I would really like to verify my fuel injectors are working together.

Thanks in advance

Jim

Hi,
I have a 1999 Kawasaki Concours (not California) and want to know if this kit will fit out of the box or are there additional items to purchase?
Also, how much detail are in the instructions? I am a novice and appreciate good instructions.

BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question! Yes this EMGO Synchronizer would work for your machine. The kit does come with complete instructions but we always recommend using a service manual as well.
Is this carburetor synchronizer compatible with a 2 cylinder bike?
Harry Honda on Nov 19, 2012

Can this product work on a 1981 Honda CB 750K (four carbs)? I currently have a kit that uses a different system with mercury. I think that this one is easier but wanted to see if it was compatible with my engine.

Emgo Carburetor Synchronizer
I have a older set of these same gauges... They all work well. For those who don't know, temperature, altitude and barometric difference's can change the needle settings on analog gauges. This is why there is a small adjustment screw next to the Very slow small movements will adjust all of them back to " 0 " if they are misaligned... Its something to pay attention to each and everytime before they are used....Just remove the face cover and use a small straight screwdriver..... Unless they are physically damaged or will not recalibrate, it is way easier to reset them instead of returning them....Hope this helps...

For the money, a pretty good deal
the different length adapters make it easy to use. The dampeners are a good idea.

good buy
I was hesitant to spend the money on this, but I am really glad I did. This bike is my first time working on one, and I was able to synchronize my carbs in only a couple minutes (tank and everything was already off). The bike runs MUCH smoother now. Also glad I don't have to worry about sucking the fluid from a manometer style tool. If you close the nylon valves before starting the bike, and then open them slowly while it's running, you don't risk damaging the gauges.

My only complaint is that the nylon valves are really cheap. They work, but they skip a thread really easily if you tighten them too much (which is easily done with only light finger pressure).

Works just fine
Just hook it up and adjust the valves down. When started open slowly and so all needles react the same.
Then adjust by starting with the carb that is the stationary one and adjust all the others to match it.
When you get it right you can hear and feel it.
