What type of replacement CO2 cartridges will this Pocket Tire Plugger accept? Threaded, unthreaded, and can the replacement CO2 cartridges be of another brand.
Andy on Aug 18, 2010
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question! The canisters are threaded so the adapter screws onto the valve and canister. They are a standard size canister.

Stop &Go tire plugger
CO2 cartridges won’t fill rear tire even half full. Plugs did not seal well.

This is a must have for the trunk of the car, also
This kit is fantastic and works perfectly every time I have needed it. I plugged 2 motorcycle tires and over time, 4 tires on my car with zero problems. This kit is so handy I keep one in the trunk of my car. I can fix the tire ON the car without jacking it up, breaking out the spare from the trunk, and all of that. You can actually fix the tire in place and be back on your way faster than putting on a spare.

For the motorcycle, it saved me from getting stranded two different times and lasted long enough to make an appointment at the dealer and get the tire replaced. While I probably shouldn't have done this, I fixed the second flat I got on my bike and rode a few thousand miles on that tire before having it replaced. The plugs work that well.

Obviously you're out of luck if you get a sidewall puncture, but that has only happened to my on my car.

Stop & Go with CO2
I had a flat with my BMW yesterday. I have no center stand, so removing the wheel would be a major problem. Read ALL the directions carefully and this works perfectly. I had picked up a 3" long
stainless steel tube at a slight angle. The mushroom plug still worked...on the first try, and
the CO2 cartridges brought the tire up to 25 lbs.
