excellent product and customer assistance
I used the size chart to select a size and it fits perfectly.
Jacket is warm with the inner liner and just a tshirt at 5Celcius.
More than enough pockets.
Padding in the elbows and shoulders is thick. I haven't dumped/crashed a bike, but I think it will help plenty compared to nothing.
I like it alot shoulders a a little big
Very warm and stylish
It has lots of pockets! Even the liner which is removable has pockets, I've never had a motorcycle jacket with so many. There are 4 vents for pass through under the arm area, which will be nice for those warmer days. I didn't give it a 5 star rating just because the shoulder pads make you look like a body builder when wearing it, it's something you can get used to or forget about after a few times. I wish it came in a two tone color...or I would have bought two. It's very comfortable when riding, 32 degrees on a 45mph road and not a whisp of chill! If you want a jacket that is less then $100 with lots of great options, buy this and you won't regret it. As the fit goes, I am 6' 193lbs with long arms...I ordered a large and it fits like it should. Can't wait to test it in the warmer weather.
Nice and warm!
I wore it for the first time today, it was about 43degrees with light wind. Going up the 45mph overpass and 35mph traffic, I couldn't possibly be more toasty.I do feel a bit on the hefty side with the huge shoulder pads, but over all it's comfertable if you can get past the bulky feel. The wrist straps are very easy to adjust even with gloves on, LOTS of pockets for everything! Love a jacket with tons of pocket space. It looks cool, just kind of wish had a bit more color to it. I can't wait to test it out by taking out the liner and use it during warmer weather. I didn't give it 5 stars just because it's stiff and bulky, I hope it loosens up after wearing it a while. If you want a mid level jacket, with lots of pockets and protection, less then $100 get one!
Good jacket for the money. Have worn it on chilly nights, mid 50's, haven't felt cold at all but I was wearing a sweatshirt underneath it. A bit bulky to stuff into a saddle bag when it's warm, but Ohio weather means you better have one with you. Feels comfortable when riding, no complaints.
Great for a new rider
Between the strong material, padding, and reflective lines, this jacket is very safe. As a new rider, this was a top priority for what I was looking for. Add to that fact that it has a good removable liner so it's good for year-round wear, it's got tons of pockets including a water-proof phone one, and it's water-resistant (when vents are closed). It looks good and it does its job.
It feels a little too bulky, but that's the price you pay for the armor.
I haven't tested the armor in a crash, but I'm confident that it will do what it's meant to. It does not feel cheap in any way.
Bought this jacket because I wanted a second that was textile vs my leather. I wanted one that could vent and had a zip out liner. This one fit the bill nicely and it was on sale. I've worn it 3 times and very pleased. Keeps out the wind and is very comfortable. It's sill a little stiff but is starting to break in. Overall great jacket, great value. Biker Bandit great to deal with as always and provided quick free shipping. Size runs true. I am 5'7" 165 lbs and got the large. Plenty of room to layer underneath but not too bulky. I am getting another for my son. Highly recommended.
looks good & workes even better
200 mile ride : started at 80 degrees , vents worked great !! met with 8 othet guys & started riding. ran into a downpour : the jacket kept me dry & warm at highway speed. 2nd day : Michigan UP cold & wet ( wished I kept the liner in ) 80 miles in a steady rain , stayed dry & for the most part , warm . ( 45 degrees at 75 )
definately a good buy !!!! ( i did take the shoulder pads out - made me look like Arnold S.)
easy to use, havent had any issues yet
