My bars are 32” do I want the 32” canyon dancers or 36”?
A shopper on Feb 7, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question! The 32" will work best with your 32" wide bars, by going with this size you'll be avoiding bunching of the straps. anyone try on a Goldwing?
les d on Oct 13, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Les, thank you for the question. According to Canyon Dancer, the Bar Harness II is break tested to withstand pulling forces over 1800 pounds per side. A Goldwing weighs about 840 lbs wet, with no added luggage or fairings so this should work just fine. To determine what size would work, measure the distance from one bar end to the other. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll-free at 1-888-339-3888. When I applied them the pull my handle bars do wn on my Harley roadglide. How much force is required to safely tie down the bike?
A shopper on May 21, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question! You want to have your tie downs tight enough to where your bike will not wobble around or sway when secured. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll free at 1-888-339-3888. I have a 2007 BMW K1200LT. What size will fit my bike and what is the inside diameter of the handle bar "pocket" (not sure what to call it)?
Karl B on May 14, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hello Karl, measure the distance from the end of each grip to determine the strap length you need. Unfortunately the inside diameter is not provided from the manufacture but they are large enough to easily fit over larger cruiser style grips found on 1" handle bars. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll free at 1-888-339-3888. If I buy the 40 in. straps can I use them on smaller bikes? Why would I buy the shorter 28 in. straps?
A shopper on Apr 7, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question! You can use the larger strap on smaller bike but keep in mind you'll have more excess strap when securing down a smaller bike. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll free at 1-888-339-3888. Ok but needs a better design
If you buy these and use them for a long trip, realize you will need a new set of grips on the bike. The cups do not fit the grips to disperse the load. The cup edge will dig into you grip unless you find a piece of tubing to make it work.

Makes it so easy
No more hooking on to the handle bars or forks or triple tree and worrying about scratching or damaging something. This universal harness slips right onto the bar ends and makes it so easy and convenient to attach your straps to tie down. I have 2 sets, one for each bike. They are a must have when transporting.

Great for keeping bike upright
Purchased based on recommendation from dealer service. After ordering, did some research that suggested they are not intended to hold a heavy weight bike into the chock due to possible bar damage.. Will use them to keep bike upright and pull into chock with another set of tie downs.

Easy to use and kept the bike secure!
Must-have if you trailer your bike to/from the track like I do! The fairings make it difficult to attach straps to the triple tree or handlebars, but the canyon dancer Mk 2 make strapping your bike down a snap! Just got back from the track and my bike did just fine 4 hours round trip with just the handle bars secured with the CD.
