Christmas present for my husband. Pretty obvious that he wanted a pair of waterproof riding pants when he got home yesterday with a tale of woe having spent all day teaching school in wet pants. These seem like a good value and hopefully what he wants. Stay tuned.

I was looking for a pant that I could commute to work in and remove easily but still offered protection. I have Tour Master products and like their quality.

i am 6' 2" 187 lbs. In jeans for regular wear i take a 36" waist and a 32" inseam. For riding motorcycles I like a 34" inseam because they is long enough even if they ride up a bit when sitting on the bike.
Can you give me your suggestion as to what size is best considering that I will wear over jeans and I don't want them to ride up while sitting on the bike.
John on Jan 15, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. You may need a 2XL size to fit comfortably. Below is a link to the Tour master sizing chart:

I wear a 36/32 pant, what size do I need to go over my street clothes?
Bobby on May 30, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your Question! It would just depend on comfort at that point. M=36 X 32.25, Lg= 38 X 32.5, XL= 40 X 32. This should help with your choice.
My question is about the sizing of these pants. I am 5'9",36 waist with a 32" inseam. I have looked at the sizing chart but I am unsure what category these fall under. Could you please suggest the appropriate size so I can place my order for a pair.
null on Mar 28, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question! For overpants we always recommend ordering a size up from what you would normally size out to. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.
I own the Tourmaster Jet series 2 jacket. Is the zipper on the pants compatible with the jacket. I have bought another pair of pants before (not Tour Master) and the zippers were not oriented in the same direction so they cannot be zipped together.
null on Mar 4, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question! Yes the zippers would match on those two items.
Do the legs have stirrups and do the legs fit over the boot?
Mike on Feb 17, 2012

What size fits a 38" waist with a 30" inseam?

What is the waist/inseam measurement for the regular length small and medium size of these pants? They don't appear in the sizing guide.
null on Dec 3, 2010
BEST ANSWER: thanks for your question! The small would be Waist size 26 fitted and 46 extended, length would be 30inches. The medium would be Waist size 27 fitted and 47 extended, length would be 31.5 inches.
Which product line do these overpants line up with on the sizing chart? (which one are they the same as)
Valalvax on Nov 18, 2010

Do these pants provide any resistance to damage from touching the exhaust. that is protection for the garment and the rider.
null on Oct 6, 2010
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question! The manufacturer does not list anything about heat shields. You may want to contact Tour Master directly for this information.

Great overpants!
Perfect overpants! They completely block out the wind and cold. I’ve ridden in 36 degree weather without feeling any cold. I wear a size 34 waist and bought the recommended size and they fit perfectly over my work pants. Hip protectors and knee pads are a plus. Haven’t worn them in the rain but I can assume they’ll perform well. Zippers and Velcro closures were not an issue as some other reviews have noted. May be a coordination issue for some but I’ve worn them daily and they come off and go on with ease.

Quick on and off
The side velcro covering the zipper makes it hard to quickly do the zipper up and down but otherwise they are great pants. Wear them every day. A little warm in the summer. Truly waterproof.

Would buy them again.

Perfect
I purchased these pants as an easily removable layer for my street clothes. They function very well for this purpose both in rider crash protection and as a cold or wet weather barrier. The full length zippers make them a breeze to get in or out of as well. I usually wear a 36 to 38 inch waist ,depending on the cut of the jean, and went with the 38 -40 size which fit very well. I originally ordered the standard length 33" inseam as I wear a 32 inch jean but found they would end up about 1.5" above my hiking style boots when riding my Wing. I returned them for a tall, 35" inseam, and they work perfect. Be aware that the advertising says they come with a removable insulated liner. They do not. After making contact with Tour Master I was informed that it was a tag error and the pants were never designed for a liner even though their advertising specifically says it does. So that "Bad" is on the Mfg. The pants work great as is and that's why I'm staying with the 5 star rating. Bike Bandit was totally co operative in helping to resolve the advertising issue so they get 5 stars as well. Tour Master needs to police their advertising! Product 5 stars,Ethics 1 star.

Good quality material. The knee and hip pads move around some but they're an excellent value for the price.

Nice overpants
Bought these as I wanted to have the option of being protected and not having to change pants when I get to where I'm going. I can wear shorts in summer, and use the zippered vents to get air, or wear jeans or layer up for colder riding. There is ample room inside and they are comfortable on longer rides. The only thing I would improve is to have more Velcro around the legs to allow them to fit tighter around my boots. I am thinking of sewing some additional Velcro to the bottom cuffs so I will be able to do this.

Overpant size fit
The pants a good fit for me (inseam 28") I tried the short but they didn't cover my ankles in the riding position. They are not lined but waterproof is enough for me. If heated liners were used it might make for a tight fit.

Tour master Overpant
Haven't had the overpants too long but have worn them 2 times in dry weather. They block out all wind which meant I didn't have to wear a base layer under lined jeans. Temps from 41 - 50 with jeans underneath was enough. By the 2 nd ride I was comfortable in them. Run a little big but seems appropriate as overpaint. Length just right in riding position. Seem well made.

Just exactly what I hoped they would be. Look and feel high quality. REALLY keeps me warm in cold weather. Order longer length than normal pants (you'll be glad on the bike and not a problem off the bike). Adjustable knee armor is great! Best over pants I've seen
