I own a tour master jacket, set up to zip to pants at lower back. does this model offer that? if not, does another?
mki on Mar 20, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. Unfortunately the Quest pants do not have a connection zipper. The Tourmaster Caliber pants, Flex pants, Venture Pants, and the Venture Air pants all have connection zippers.

These are links to the Tourmaster Pants that have connection zippers.
Do these pants have zippers on the side of the legs?

Does the Quest pant have side zippers on the legs to make them easier to take on and off?
megabid17 on Feb 13, 2010
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question! The Tour Master Quest Pants that your looking at would have the zippers on the side for when taking on and off your boots.
Will these pants melt on a hot exaust?
RiderRon on Nov 3, 2009
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question! Unfortunately the Tour Master Quest Pants that your looking at do not provide heat protection on the inside of the leg, due to this these are susceptible to melting on the exhaust

Good pants for the price!
Not as heavy or hot as I expected, so great.

Fit was a bit short. I ordered small and usually wear loose 29W 30-32L 501 Levis. Ordering larger would have been too wide.

Under really heavy rain my undies got wet, but I bet the rainguard will suffice in not so rough weather.

What matters: I felt safe and comfortable riding.

These are good pants for the money — a great first pair.

Handy item to have
Got these in January in Wisconsin so haven't ridden in them yet. I got them with the idea of wearing them in colder weather, and also over shorts in the summer. Seem nice, though I've heard some negative comments regarding the zipper. They go well with my Castle jacket, and have pads in appropriate area. Overall, a good value.

A skeptical purchase, but . . . .
Bought these pants for a multi-day/state tour from CO to ARK and back, in late Sept. into Oct. for inclement and chilly weather days. Most of the time it was packed away but when needed the pants performed flawlessly and kept me dry and comfy warm. The fit was right on for me, Medium, for a 5' 9" 148lb. guy with a 31" inseam. The CE armour was in the right places right out of the box (I pre-fitted at home before the trip.) The pockets up front were handy but could use a button-snap or zipper closure like the two in the back but was not a big detriment to functionality. The rainguard was topnotch through med/heavy rain, dense fog, with strong cross winds at times. I may have used the pants more for everyday riding if there was a venting system, but then maybe the rainguard feature might have been compromised. Overall, a very good, economical piece of weather gear and Bike Bandit got it delivered as quick as they said they would.

Great pants!
I'm 5'10", 135lbs, I normally wear a wrangler jean 30x32. I bought a medium to wear over my jeans or other pants, they fit great, not too loose or tight over other pants. They are a bit long but they fit okay once you're sitting on a bike and they cover your boot good. Very nice hard molded knee guards and softer padding around the waist area. I could wear these all day!

NOT Waterproof
I got these pants because they seemed like a bargain. When I got them I found:
-Waist was waay to big. A belt is hard to use because there are only 4 loops and the belt falls off when not in use.
-Pants were too short, exposing the backs of my calves when seated, even with normal boots. (I am a 33x32 and got the 34)
-Thigh armor binds when seated.
-First ride in the rain and I have a wet crotch. Nice.
In summary, if you are short, fat, stand alot when you ride and live in the desert, these pants are for you. If not, there are better choices out there.
