For peace of mind when I leave the bike alone for more than 10 minutes. If I am out and about alone and stop somewhere and I know i'll be gone for more than 5 - 10 minutes I put this on and know at least it's loud enough to alert somebody if its moved.

The Zena XX14 disc alarm lock is described as 120db audio alarm in the text describing it, the close up larger view of the unit reveals a sticker on the unit claiming 110db. Which is it. The same applies for the other Zena disc alarm lock you list online

BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question! That would be a generic image of the xn15 model, you would get the xx14 which is 120 db.

Works as Advertised
Easy to use on my Concours 14 rear brake. I had it on during an all night rain and there were no problems. The alarm went off when I took the bike off the kickstand to test it. I used it on a 1 week trip and it's small size made it easy to pack.
