Impressive performance, very confidence inspiring. Satisfied so far. Five star performance but I went with four stars pending longevity testing.
Bought the set of Bridgestone Battlax Adventurecross AX41 tires from Bike Bandit and the shipping was quick but the tires arrived separately, and a day apart. Not sure if the second tire was drop shipped from another location but it wasn’t the most convenient. Opening them up, the knobs appeared to be rather short in height (Bridgestone claims a 10mm knob height) but they also claim a high wear rubber compound so I decided to try them out. This is a first day report ( as much as I hate those) but here is the initial impression:
Just rode 50 miles of twisty pavement and 16 miles of mountain gravel roads. Complete confidence on gravel, these tires transformed the bike. I don’t care about loud tires on pavement because I come from a dirt bike and 4X4 background, but yes, they are louder than a street tire but in a fun, menacing way. They held well on tight turns and sweepers, zero knob squirm, no dancing around, and I’m riding a 500lb 1000 V Strom. They are actually quieter in a turn which tells me they put some science in rather than simply slapping rows of paddles across a carcass like the TKC80s and the Shinko 805s. The grip so far is confidence inspiring overall, tread wear is yet to be seen. Going straight, to be honest, they feel best when kept below 70mph, but I’m not about to slab it across five states, I’m riding twisties and dirt. Overall I am initially very happy with this purchase.

Adventure cross AX41 review
I bought these tires for my Triumph 800 Tiger. Sizes bought were 90/90/21 and 150/70/17.
So far I have 2400 miles on them. I would say approximately 400 of those miles are gravel and dirt roads. Once broke in these tires really stick to the pavement in the twisties. Never once did I feel them want to slip and I rode aggressively in the corners.
All but the last 3/8” of tread on each side was used in cornering. No rain riding so far so I cannot comment on that.

As far as wear goes I have high hopes that the mileage will be good.
Upon mounting them up I measured the tread depth across two knobs with a depth mic in several places.
The average depth was .362” deep. Using a safety factor of 1/8” depth of tread being the point at which I consider the tire to be worn out.
I believe that by my calculations that I should get about 4500 miles out of the rear tire, which is acceptable to me and cost effective.
Hope this helps you make a decision on this tire.

I like them

Really solid off road tire that can get to the trail.
Love the tires. Put them on my BMW F650 GS Twin. Great traction, rear is a little less stable laterally, but worth it for the massive increase in traction. Sand, rock, and hard pack. Ok on the street, wouldnt put them on my rice-rocket though. Haven't tried mud yet. I've only got a couple hundred miles on them, hoping they keep their edges after 350 miles of hwy to the IDBDR. BTW: Thank you Bike Bandit for the quick ship.
