Have been using this tire for years, always feel confident with the ride, stability, and tarmac stick, that helps with the feel of the bike.<br />I know the handling I can get with these tires.
Donald A on Jul 2, 2019
I have used nothing but BT016's since their inception. I have been a Bridgestone fan since the days of the BT56SS. Great tires, heat up fast, stick well, last a decent amount of miles.
Erik K on May 2, 2019
Looked like a decent tire. So I figured I would try it.

What is the difference between this tire and Battlax BT016 Pro Hypersport.? Aren't the same tires? Which tire you suggest for a daily but hard usage on a '03 CBR rr600?

bill on Nov 10, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. Unfortunately the BT016R is not available in the sizes needed for the GL1800. The Bridgestone BT-016R is a radial tire and doesn't have the load index required for the Honda GL1800. You may need to search for a bias ply or reinforced tire that meets that criteria. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll free at 888-339-3888. We are more than happy to help.

Greg on Feb 28, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question! They are different compounds of rubber and speed ratings and load ratings.
Tire size for my rim is 120/70 - 17 - you have a listing for a battlax 120/60 - 17. Will the 120/60 fit my rim and will it be a "narrower" tire. I'm trying to put the smallest tire on this rim that I can.
Paul on Nov 13, 2011
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question! Yes, the 120/60-17 will still fit and work for your machine. You may want to check with your mechanic to see what is the smallest size that could be used for this machine. If there is anything else we can assist you with just call or click!

"Great grip/Heat up/cool down/minor cupping"
Great grip and heat up/cool down...They do seem to suffer from minor cupping even when you keep tire pressures proper.

Best sport tire there is.
I am an ex WERA racer, and I appreciate a good street tire. Been running this tire since it's inception. These are simply the best tire money can buy for sport/sport touring machines. The combo of handling, adhesion, and longevity cannot be beat. Some people will say Michelin, but no....the biggest reason being Michelins DO NOT stick when they are cold....I know, I have experienced it. With these BT016's you can head out and stuff it into the first corner with no fear of slipping. I ride very hard, and routinely get about 3500 miles from a set of these, and I can not ask for more than that. I want grip - I don't care as much about getting 8K from a tire.

Good Tires 2012 Z1000
I ordered these tires from Bike Bandit at 11:00am and next day by 3pm they were delivered to my house. That has been the fastest FREE shipping I have ever had. These tires come highly rated. I had ran them on my 2011 R1 and they worked perfectly. I ordered the 190-55-17 rear for better handling on corners and they seem to hold up better than the PP2's I had.
